The "Giardino
del Lago B&B" is situated in the centre of
Rome and is ideal either for long or short periods.
The B&B is half way along one of the most important
and exclusive roads in the city. It is in an elegant
and completely renovated and antique building. The B&B
is only 10 minutes walking distance from Via Veneto
which is the most beautiful and famous road in the city
and is only a short distance from Villa Borghese one
of Rome's most prestigious places. In fact, no other
european city has such a big park which includes a rich
and precious collection of art works.
From the B&B there are bus connections, shops of
all types (either for elegant or casual shopping), restaurants,
pizza huts, cafè, bancomat, internet cafè
and supermarkets. A very important aspect is the extreme
silence of the rooms, due to double-glazed windows plus
another window. Guests have said that they had the feeling
of being in the country: they could see a park from
the windows without earing any noice, but as they went
out of the front door they found themselves in the centre
of the city. Clients also give their compliments for
the rooms and for the entire cleanliness of the B&B.
For a long stay (at least 30 nights) one can choose
a suite: a very spacious and splendid room (46 square
metres) with two windows overlooking a park, including
a double bed (possibility of adding one or two single
beds), a sofà, two armchairs and a coffee table
or a normal double-bed room (30 square metres) with
the possibility of adding a third bed.
For short stays (at least 2 nights), depending on the
availability, one can have a normal room or a suite
at the same price. All the rooms or suites have air
conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, fridge-bar and
the bathroom inside the room (air-dryer).
Last but not least there is also a large breakfast room
and a large kitchen only for long stays guests.
